At Top Shelf Kennels, we specialize in German Wirehaired Pointers (GWPs). We aspire to find each family the perfect dog for their lifestyle. We enjoy getting to know each family in order to best choose a puppy that will "check all of the boxes" and truly exceed expectations. Our dogs excel in all hunting conditions and possess the necessary and vital "off switch," enabling them to make wonderful house companions as well. Top Shelf Kennels has currently produced (28) Natural Ability, (3) Utility, and (2) Versatile Champion NAVHDA Breeder Award litters. Moreover, Top Shelf Kennels has produced (10) NAVHDA Versatile Champions.

Top Shelf Kennels is located a couple miles southwest of Horace, ND. I purchased my very first Wirehair back in 1989 and have never looked back. Top Shelf Kennels has produced over 35 GWP litters and received multiple NAVHDA Natural Ability, Utility, and Invitational Breeder Awards. I pride myself on producing the very highest QUALITY puppies vs QUANTITY for the most discerning of hunting households. All puppies carry an 18-month Health Guarantee. In 35 litters, I've yet to have a puppy come back to me for a debilitating health condition. I encourage all my puppy buyers to participate in a sanctioned NAVHDA Natural Ability test and give all of the support I possibly can to make sure both you and your puppy are successful.
